Welcome to Bark Til Dark Dog Park. Our park is a place where your dog can truly be a dog! You must provide your dog’s up-to-date vaccination records and proof of spay/neuter in order to enter the park. All friendly dogs welcome!*

Bark Til Dark is open 7 days a week, year round. The park is a 6 acre fenced plot in Delaware, off Route 23. We have made many efforts to accommodate dogs of all shapes and sizes and their caretakers. We do this by offering features such as:

  • a one acre pond
  • an enclosed, shaded picnic area
  • areas for agility and one-on-one training
  • a convenient check in area
  • a paw wash
  • Five open acres to run and play
  • A friendly staff person on site at all times
  • events for members only
  • opportunities to learn about Central Ohio animal rescues, shelters, and other dog related groups
  • Your First Visit is FREE (except during special events, i.e. Mingle With Our Mutts, Dog Bone-anza)

* If you have a "bully breed" dog or mix, please call or e-mail mistyfli@aol.com before bringing your dog to the park.

Thinking about joining a Private Dog Park?
Do you think your dog is "not right" for a dog park?  Most dogs do very well in an off-leash situation!  If your dog is unfriendly to other dogs while being walked on a leash, barks at other dogs when they walk by your home, is shy around people or dogs, or is just older and not very active, we invite you to try out the dog park.  A staff person is always on hand at the park to walk you through your first dog park experience.  Please call us at 740-369-9170 if you have any special concerns about your dog's personality or behavior.  We are here to help!

Food for thought ….if you give up JUST ONE $4 Double Espresso Latte Chai Grande Soy Coffee Drink with extra whipped cream and sprinkles from your favorite corner store each week, your membership will pay for itself!

More food for thought …we also offer a convenient monthly payment plan. For as low as $18 a month, you and your dog(s) can join the Bark Til Dark Dog Park family and enjoy all the amenities of a private dog park!

Here are a few examples of fun times we’ve had at the park… come join the fun!!
  • 4th of July picnic
  • End of summer margarita party
  • Yappy Hour around the fire
  • Halloween costume party
  • Tricks for Treats by ACME Canine
  • Most Adorable Dog Photo Contest
  • Holiday party

  • Professional pet photos
  • Dog wash and bake sale for furry victims of Katrina
  • ShurePets Pupperware Party

Remember, your first visit to the park is FREE, so what have you got to lose?  Just remember to bring your dog’s up-to-date vaccination records including proof of spay/neuter.  Your vet can fax them to us at 740-369-9169. Bark Til Dark Dog Park....where a dog can be a dog.

CHAIN OFF 2008
Bark Til Dark member Jen Schrolucke chained herself to a dog house for 8 hours on July 4th to raise awareness of dogs who live their entire lives chained. Signs posted near her dog house asked passersby to "HONK IF A CHAINED DOG MAKES YOU SAD." She raised $155 for Dogs Deserve Better, a non-profit group whose mission is to get dogs off of chains. Learn more about helping a chained dog or make a donation to this wonderful organization. www.dogsdeservebetter.org or www.unchainourworld.org
